My bias and love of the sport overrides the gut feeling I had after reading this. Why would anyone bet with such a dis-advantage?

I am to the point that my handle in the sport is considered a donation to the horses, since some of the take out goes to purses and that pays the bills. Kind of a twisted version of after care, just to do my small part & save this sport.

The tracks have made a deal with the devil, and know it. With the handle that the CAW's put into the pools, can racing survive without them?
