I think Twin Spires just handles the operational side for DK Horse, which is of course an offshoot of a large sports betting company. 1st has a similar relationship with DRF Bets, but 1st can take bets on CDI tracks and DRF Bets cannot.
I was thinking this morning how typical of horse racing it would be if you could not bet the DK Horse-sponsored Travers on DK Horse, but I guess that's not in the cards.
I count both Twin Spires and NYRA Bets among my ADW accounts, so this dispute doesn't really inconvenience me. From their promotion schedule this weekend and the comments from CDI's CEO, it feels like Twin Spires is willing to let this drag on for a while.
