Alan died peacefully Monday after a long illness. Many of you knew him from the Saratoga seminars.

Al was a Racing Times guy, and after they folded he and some others came over to us. Al was the only one to stick— and he made himself integral to our operation, my second in command.

Al was a good guy, and he is already missed.
