Same thing in South Carolina. I had no idea that some states ban horse race betting until I ran into someone who moved to South Carolina & can't bet on his own account there.

There must be bookies lining up to take horse bets somewhere in Michigan. I remember when I used to hang out at OTB in the 1980s and because of the surcharge, there were bookies in the OTB parlor. I never used them but a lot of the other guys in there did.
