Ok any criticism ifs fine but I actually went on this site 5 minutes to post and realized get your bets in before you engage in a long post.
The back to back 4's and the base he had created for himself while at Oaklawn gave me the impression he may have created base he was ready to go forward from. The positive Rider switch and the feeling maybe some of the antics were over...which they were not would provide more improvement.
Coal Battle was moving forward 3 points every race and gave the vide that was about to end. Cornucopius was a mess. That 0 was going 6 furlongs and now he had to do 9. When he got challenged he had no reaction other than to run wild. One could say he held well but whoever sent it on him knocking him to 4/5 feels like the gambler at the end of the movie the "The Sting". He wanted his money back too.
Sandman probably went forward to a 2. He is not gonna be a quick breaker but he looks like he can stay. He has a foundation of experience. This 3YO Crew is not exceptionally fast. Running these horses only 3, 4 or 5 times before a mile and quarter race with 150,000 screaming fans in a 20 horse field makes it a complete puzzle. Experience and maturity still counts. Sandman is a legit player
