I made a decent bet on this runner. Gary Irish advised he didn't like the 3 weeks turnaround, and I felt he needed a race. A Blowout. The track conditions and rail did become a concern also. But I was committed and figured the Jock could navigate him out of there. It wasnt that tough of a field. And sure enough on the far turn Redistricting whobwas the 4 was to his inside and Integration broke from the 1 hole.

And from this point on Detorri killed the horses chances and the stretch run behind a Wall of 7 horses was brutal. I gotta say with this guy at this point its either feast or famine. He is strong. Versatile. IE-front end or closers. But there are Trips at times that are baffling. Its not 3W thing like Johnny V as he ages. IDK

Now in his defense as they moved around the turn it was time to pick it up and Irad on Redistricting gets off the rail and takes an open spot right front of Integration and he was then blocked the rest of the way. I'm beginning to think this horse is very one paced. Doesnt have a quick turn of foot. He is talented but might explain why is still seeking a Grade 1.

This was not a strong field which is why I felt so strongly about him. He will get a trouble line and everyone will overeact and bet him. But either Detorri was asleep or he made his own trouble. I think its the latter.
