Briefly,I mentioned an opinion that maybe the super vet(s) can only rehab an animal,not induce new found speed into an existing horse.
By this I meant basically; a younger steed can not be induced to run faster or farther because said animal has not had enough races to tear him down and/or introduce bad habits into his/her regimen.
the super trainers that get their stock down to a certain # and keep it there seem to excell at improving the horses ability to get max. performance from each breath.
could this be why those same trainers have yet to win the derby?
P.S. when writng about keyed entry in a previous thread,I mentioned his inability to go a classical distance. then i said get allday on him and next year he'll win the b.c. I meant THE CLASSIC.
