None of the Hall of Fame jockeys & others interviewed has ever heard of one, & neither have I, which doesn't mean much given that it wasn't until a few yrs ago that I actually saw a "battery" & got a demonstration of how one works. But that's what Jose Santos says he had in his hand on D-Day in a photo which is creating quite a stir & which triggered a meeting of regulators scheduled for this morning.
