1) This is my favorite type of post - thank you. It gets to the thought process more than the handicapping.
2) Wagering remains a large obstacle to winning. How many times have you heard someone say "I'm a good handicapper but a poor better"? A friend advised he didn't win consistently until he spent almost as much time constructing his plays as handicapping.
3) I maintain the biggest impediment to winning is doubt. Another way of saying conviction. Be right or be wrong.
4) For years I was so lazy. I went to the track knowing I was going to play both pick fives no matter how the races looked. Robotic. Vertical wagering was like speaking Greek. I am not yet fluent but know a few words.
5) I am finally comfortable playing NYRA. My favorite situation is when Irad is on a play against. It happens, but not a lot.
6) I have regained my love for football after leaving it since the kneeling. When did it become Men in Tights?
