why does people put so much on pace. ok so your saying it wild horses was a speed horse and he got out there and set the same pace as WE did, your telling me he would have won?? NO NO NO why, cause he wasnt fast enough his pattern wasnt ready. Its like this WE won this race cause he tripled up his 1.0 thats it. Robes once said there was a race back in the 80's and this horse was on the front all by himself and he set the slowest frc. ever in the certain dist. and he ended up running very bad. The closers came and got him. If that horse would have won, we would never heard the end of how the pace won it for him. I don't the derby was ran in real slow times was it???
