It takes a while to work the drugs "responsibly" into the horses system. A little too much and you get a "Left Bank" or "Rags to Riches" result. They have very sensitive systems.
Saratoga can play quick and its not coincidental that the track record Left Bank held is now owned by Lawyer Ron.
I'm not sure what an isolated Whitney win really does for a stud fee. My guess is it will do as much for Lawyer Ron as it has done for Commentator.
Lawyer Ron ran a substantial schedule at 2 and 3, but he ran clean. Now that his 'training" has changed, expect the end for him very shortly now.
If you want to considering doping "out-training" thats your prerogative, but the folks that I know who run horses would never involve themselves with Todd Pletcher.
What I consider "sick" are those that say one thing and do another. Those that turn a blind eye to both legality and humanity because there are dollars to be collected by going along. Iraq is like that and unfortunately those that take advantage won't limit themselves to manipulating humans. Your stud fee comment let this board know whats important to you.
Pletch needs to follow Frankels lead and dump the dope.
