Clenbuterol is a permitted medication in many jurisdictions. It helps horses with breathing problems and trace amounts are permissible. It can't be administered within a certain amount of days.

Did Bafferts horse test positivie in a jurisdiction where it is not permissible or did he exceed a threshold where it is?

Lukas has had a horse test positive for Cocaine. There is no accepted use of Cocaine in veterinary medicine.

I'm not sold on a notion that baking soda can mask chemical compounds. If Baffert falls to 12%, I could be persuaded.

I just dont think he's cheating. You don't win the Derby with 70K and 17K horses and not have a great deal of insight into biomechanics and breeding. You don't buy a horse for a million on a questionable vet report, unless you know what you're doing.

Lets be real, Baffert is doing it with acumen. Lukas thinks a Storm Cat over a Mr. Prospector is the way you go.
