Wait a minute. What do you mean theres no harm done? Why was Desormeaux in Louisville? Is he idle until next Saturday? If you're saying the connections think theres no harm done, thats their prerogative. That doesnt mean there was no harm done, nor no cause for concern.
I don't care how many times he tried to call Trombetta after he was late. Thats irrelevant from my perspective as a potential SnS backer. Does Trombetta really accept he missed the work by "oversleeping"? Say it ain't so? Seriously, whats his position on that? I don't think a professional jockey in his right mind misses that work. Is it just me or is it totally unreasonable to say:
"Oh, well, thats just rockhound Kent. No harm done. We'll let him ride regardless"
