Kinder Gentler Chuckles:
"Mike Welch is a very good judge of the Equine athlete. He's proven that many times in the past with his observations and commentary. There is one thing some others that viewed Saturdays works have commented upon and might point out if they posted here and its this: "The track was not considered as Glib after the rennovation break." This was due to among other things precipitation. Maybe tracks really do change race to race or even work to work or after some track maintenance.
One other item of note. Why does Mike Welch have fractional times by the 1/8th pole for many of the horses so that he can accurately call out by the clock how they progressed through their works, but somehow, all he has posted for Sinister Minister is the Post Rennovation Workout Final Time along with the commentary he appeared to slow down after changing leads? Why is that? Perhaps Mike's stopwatch slipped out of his hand and he had just enough time to hit the stop timer switch as Sinister finished up wherever he did finish up. Sometimes, they don't necessarily begin or end their works where you'd think. But Mike should not have to comment that he appeared to slow down. His stopwatch should tell him that, right. How do you reconcile what Mike Welch said, when other observers said Sinister finished strongly after being in restraint?
One other question, why wasn't Lawyer Ron's workout considered "The Awesome Baby the Work of the Day?" It was faster and on the slower post rennovation surface?
Or are all these questions evidence the Evil Chuckles is trying to get out again?"
